Our Executive Board
With diverse experiences in public health, our Executive Board guides club members to take an active role in local public health initiatives, ensuring that CURIS is responsive to the needs of our community partners and continues to be a leader in health advocacy, engagement, and education on the U-M campus.

President
Eve Goddard
Eve is a senior studying Community and Global Public Health (B.A.), with minors in Biology and Middle East Studies. Her public health interests center on community-engaged research and the interplay between built environments and health outcomes. Upon graduation, she intends to pursue a Master of Public Health (MPH) or a Master of Urban Planning (MUP) to help urban communities be healthy, supportive, and welcoming.

Dyuthi Aryasomayajula
Dyuthi is a junior majoring in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience (B.S). Her public health interests center around culturally sensitive care, preventive medicine, and improving mental health outcomes for young people. Following graduation, Dyuthi intends to attend medical school to address systemic cultural gaps from within the healthcare system and advance health equity

Jaanvi Reddy Muchanthla
Jaanvi is a junior studying Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience (B.S.), with a minor in Sociology of Health and Medicine. Her interests in public health involve psychiatric epidemiology and prioritizing community mental health healthcare interventions. She is passionate about engaging traditional healthcare professionals with a culturally humble and public health-minded treatment ideology. Upon graduation, Jaanvi hopes to attend medical school and work in coalitions addressing racial disparities in healthcare outcomes.

Disha is a senior pursuing a major in Public Health Sciences (B.S.), with a Business minor. Her public health interests center on using an interdisciplinary approach to understand the systemic factors affecting individual health, and translating that knowledge into advocacy for better community health outcomes.

Miracle Brown
Miracle is a senior pursuing a dual degree in Public Health Sciences (B.S.) and International Studies (B.A.). Her public health interests center on advancing health equity and improving outcomes for racial minority communities, particularly youth, through culturally responsive programs that address the social determinants of health. She plans to pursue a Master’s in Global Health or Health Equity (MPH) to deepen her understanding of structural disparities and how they manifest across health systems globally, with a long-term goal of earning a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) to drive policy-level change and population health impact.

Karina Munshi
Karina is a junior studying Community and Global Public Health (B.A.), with minors in Biology and History of Medicine and Health. Her interests in public health involve using a global scope to analyze health equity and community-engaged programs. She plans to pursue a Master of Public Health (MPH) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) to improve accessibility to and efficiency within healthcare systems worldwide.

Medesse Fagnon
Medesse is a junior pursuing a dual degree in Public Health Sciences (B.S) and Psychology (B.S). Her interest in public health centers on improving health outcomes for immigrant and underserved communities, with an emphasis on primary interventions to promote health-seeking behavior. She hopes to pursue a Masters in Epidemiology (MPH) to better understand health patterns and make health data more accessible. Afterwards, Medesse hopes to attend medical school and work to reduce health disparities in vulnerable populations, while practicing culturally humble and empathetic care.
